Gutter Cleaning & Minor Roof Repair in Sacramento
A $10 fix prevents a $10,000 roof replacement — but people still skip it.

Gutters & Roof — real jobs
Work in Sacramento homes.

Rotted fascia cut out, replaced and painted.

Soffit and fascia line put back straight.

Cutting in on the roof — most of these start as a gutter call.
A couple of pictures and a sentence about it. You get a price back, or a clear next step, usually within the hour, 7am–9pm. No sales call.
Roofs don't die from age. They die from neglect. Water that can't get away sits where it shouldn't, and by the time there's a stain on a ceiling the damage has been happening for months.
Sacramento gets most of its rain in a short window, so gutters that are full going into November cause problems that show up in January.
Gutters and downspouts
- Full clean-out and flush, including checking the fall
- Resealing joints and end caps that have started dripping
- Refastening sagging sections and replacing failed hangers
- Downspout repair, extensions and redirecting water away from the foundation
- Gutter guards — and honest advice about which ones actually work
Minor roof repairs
- Replacing a handful of damaged or lifted shingles
- Flashing and drip edge where water is getting behind the gutter
- Rotted fascia and eave boards, repaired and painted
- Small leaks around vents and penetrations
When you need a roofer instead of me
I do repairs, not roofs. If your roof needs a tear-off, a re-deck, a large section replaced, or the leak is structural, that's a licensed roofing contractor's job and I'll tell you so rather than patching something that needs replacing.
Saying that costs me work sometimes. It also means that when I do say a repair will hold, you can believe me.
Questions
Straight answers
- How often should gutters be cleaned in Sacramento?
- Once a year for most houses, before the winter rain. Twice if you have heavy tree cover — and the older neighborhoods here have plenty of mature trees.
- Can you find where my roof is leaking?
- Often, yes. Water travels, so the stain inside is rarely under the actual entry point. Photos of both the inside stain and the roof above it help a lot.
- Do gutter guards actually work?
- Some do. The mistake is simple: large mesh lets small debris in, it gets wet, and then it composts in your gutter. I'll tell you which type suits your trees.
